AutoGroup S.A. subsidiary Stealth Cars Ltd, has announced the new Stealth B7 supercar. This new B7 model, which was formally launched on June 16th 2010 in Warsaw, is a major development of the successful B6 model, aimed at race teams wanting a super competitive GT racer and also at road drivers who wish to have the ultimate track day car that will not break the bank if they make the odd mistake on the track!?

The B7 combines the well proven Stealth formula of a strong and light spaceframe chassis, 6-pot race brakes, lightweight aluminium 6.5 litre Chevrolet V8 engine and 6-speed sequential Hewland gearbox, with an entirely new body aimed at improved driver comfort and modern supercar styling. For the first time in Stealth Cars' history, the new Stealth B7 body is built entirely in carbonfibre, providing super light weight combined with strength and rigidity never previously available in the B6 model.

With an all up weight of little more than 1000kgs (most supercars weigh between 1250 and 1800 kgs) and engines available from 500bhp to 650bhp, there are very few supercars cars on the planet that can match the Stealth B7 for performance, value for money and sheer driving exhilaration. This is not a car for timid drivers!

Over two years in the making, the Stealth B6 Sport MKI was designed by renowned precision engineer Bob Light. This spectacular car embodies Bob's experience gained in over 20 years of designing and building high performance sports cars, as well as a successful career in precision engineering up to Formula 1 level. In 2001, Stealth Cars Ltd introduced the B6 Sport MKII, incorporating revised rear end aerodynamics, a 6-speed sequential gearbox and many other detailed revisions aimed at improving road handling and ride, without compromising outright performance. Winner of Autocar magazine's 0-100-0 competition for Britain's fastest road cars, as well as a record breaking 0-100 time of 6.31 seconds, the B6 Sport has proven supercar credentials.

The essence of the Stealth B6 is sound structural engineering and rigidity, high quality components, an immensely strong chassis and integral roll cage and crucially, light weight. The MKII B6 road car, even with the optional air conditioning system fitted, weighs in at little more than 1000kg, between 200kg and 400kg lighter than most supercars. With around 500bhp on tap, this provides handling, braking and acceleration levels that few supercars can match today.

These basic parameters are why the Stealth B6 has also been such a successful customer race car, with very few changes over the road car specification. The B6 GT race car has won races all over the world and finished 4th overall in the inaugural 2004 Bahrain GT Festival alongside exotic GT cars such as the Saleen S7, Ferrari 550 and Dodge Viper SR10.
